Why we'd go
The Crown Jewels, the ravens and the Yeoman Warders make history feel real. The free Warder tours are a highlight for children of about 5 and up, and there's a children's audio guide.
Watch out for
Go to the Crown Jewels first – the queue builds after lunch. Warder tours last 45–60 minutes and include gory stories, so they can be too long or too scary for little ones. Midweek is quieter.
Details last checked: 29 September 2026. Please check with the venue before you travel.
