Why we'd go
A manageable palace for children – about 60 to 90 minutes inside – with a family audio game (Time Explorers) and trail booklets. The Diana Memorial Playground, with its pirate ship, is next door.
Watch out for
It's a shorter visit than the Tower or Hampton Court. Lunchtimes and weekends are busiest – go in the morning or late afternoon.
Details last checked: 29 September 2026. Please check with the venue before you travel.
