Why we'd go
Free, with enormous hangars full of aircraft, plenty of indoor space to roam on a wet day, the hands-on Aeronauts gallery and an aircraft-themed playground. Buggy-friendly throughout.
Watch out for
The playground has some big drops, so it isn't ideal for toddlers. You walk outdoors between hangars – bring waterproofs on a rainy day.
Details last checked: 1 October 2026. Please check with the venue before you travel.
