Why we'd go
Ten acres of relocated village buildings: dress up in the Victorian schoolroom, play in the 1950s playground, explore an air-raid shelter and try hands-on crafts.
Watch out for
The narrow-gauge railway mainly runs on Sundays, for a small extra charge. From September the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
