Why we'd go
Walk-through aviaries let children get close to the birds, and the penguin feeds and keeper talks are great for learning. A compact site that's easy with younger children.
Watch out for
It's mostly outdoors, so bring wellies and waterproofs. Home educators don't get the free adults that schools do.
