Why we'd go
Forty-five acres of rescued buildings to wander in and out of, rare-breed farm animals, and an adventure playground with a granary, a castle and a bunker in the hillside. Picnic tables and plenty of parking.
Watch out for
Open-air and spread out, so dress for the weather, and watch for stinging nettles off the paths. Check opening dates – it's seasonal.
