Visit any day
WWII codebreaking.
- Home ed
- No home ed offer is advertised. Under-12s go free on a normal visit, and learning visits need a group of at least 12. The National Museum of Computing next door (a separate museum) has run Home Educators Days.
Why we'd go
The real wartime codebreaking huts, with a children's multimedia guide, things to touch and press, dressing up, and a room of codebreaking puzzles and games. Under-12s go free.
Watch out for
Best from about age 12, unless a younger child loves maths or codes. Allow three to four hours.
Details last checked: 1 October 2026. Please check with the venue before you travel.
